TUMI Unveils Spring 2026 “Mediterranean Escape” Collection at Exclusive Koh Samui Event
TUMI launches its Spring 2026 “Mediterranean Escape” collection in Koh Samui with celebrities and VIPs, showcasing vibrant designs, immersive experiences, and a strategic focus on women’s and lifestyle categories in a high-profile Asia-Pacific event.
The event welcomed over 80 guests for a weekend designed to channel the Mediterranean’s relaxed spirit. Thai celebrities in attendance included Phakphum Romsaithong (“Mile”), Blue Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen (“Blue”), Natachai Boonprasert (“Dunk”), and Becky Armstrong (“Becky”). They were joined by TUMI’s Global Creative Director Victor Sanz, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and eCommerce Jill Krizelman, and Vice President of Asia-Pacific and Middle East Aris Maroulis, who collectively presented the brand’s “design-meets-destination” philosophy and outlined its strategic focus on expanding women’s and lifestyle categories.
The Spring 2026 collection marks a decisive shift from the brand’s signature darker palette, introducing vibrant colors, prints, and new textures across core collections, including 19 Degree travel cases, Voyageur totes and backpacks, Olas shoulder bags and totes, and Harrison backpacks, complemented by a robust assortment of accessories that deliver a refreshed look and feel.
From arrival, guests were immersed in a Mediterranean-inspired atmosphere, beginning with sunset cocktails and a Mediterranean-inspired dinner. The following day, Victor Sanz formally introduced the “Mediterranean Escape,” transforming the venue into a reimagined coastal town defined by thyme green, sun-washed terracotta, and radiant yellow hues reflecting the collection’s design language. Guests navigated through settings adorned with florals, fresh lemons, and ceramics, visited the Lemonade Bar for a welcome drink, and explored a complementary summery capsule of women’s Voyageur and Olas collections paired with 19 Degree travel cases.
Further experiential engagement unfolded across two curated beachside environments—the Pink Clay Corner and the Thyme Corner—where attendees encountered the newly introduced 19 Degree Front Access travel case alongside key styles from the women’s Voyageur and Belden accessories collections, as well as the seasonal Mediterranean Print capsule.
Additional attendees included Korean content creator Choi Yunnyeong, Indonesian model and content creator Helen Hiu, Filipino content creator Camille Co, and Malaysian actress Bella Dowanna, underscoring the event’s regional influence.
Victor Sanz stated, “This Spring, we’re exploring a different side of TUMI – more expressive, more vibrant– with pieces inspired by a Mediterranean journey. The collection draws from the colors, textures, and atmosphere of the region, channeling that sense of escape and bringing a more emotional lifestyle dimension to how we design for travel.”
The event concluded with sunset drinks, dinner, and a closing beach party featuring fire dancing and a DJ performance. Aris Maroulis emphasized the experiential intent, stating, “To truly capture the spirit of our Spring 2026 collection, we knew we had to let our guests step inside it. We designed a sensory journey that brings to life the evolution of our women’s and lifestyle offerings.”
The Mediterranean Escape collection is now available at TUMI.com and in TUMI stores worldwide.
